Wildroots Magazine
Project role: Graphic Designer
About this project: Wildroots is a mock magazine I designed using Adobe InDesign and Illustrator, centered around the themes of the outdoors and sustainability.
The design rationale: This project was to create a visually engaging publication that resonates with nature enthusiasts and advocates of sustainable living. I carefully selected a natural color palette and organic typography to reflect the magazine’s earthy focus. The layout was designed to be clean and spacious, allowing the content to breathe and giving prominence to the imagery and thoughtful articles. By combining bold visuals with insightful content.
Challenges: A major challenge in creating the Wildroots magazine was maintaining a cohesive design across all six pages while ensuring each page was unique and engaging. To overcome this, I developed a style guide to establish consistent design elements, including color palette and typography. I experimented with different layouts and grid structures to create a flow throughout the magazine.
The final outcome: This project was to create a visually engaging publication that resonates with nature enthusiasts and advocates of sustainable living. I carefully selected a natural color palette and organic typography to reflect the magazine’s earthy focus. The layout was designed to be clean and spacious, allowing the content to breathe and giving prominence to the imagery and thoughtful articles. By combining bold visuals with insightful content.
